Back in 1994, Jallatte was the first company in the professional footwear sector to obtain ISO 9001 certification. Jallatte continues to pursue its quality control policy and is now certified ISO 9001 version 2000. Jallatte has always endeavoured to stay ahead of the regulations and adopt quality criteria before they become obligatory.

At each step in their manufacture and before leaving the workshop, Jallatte shoes have to go through 52 quality control tests. The drive to achieve maximum quality starts with the rigorous choice of raw materials and component parts, which all undergo preliminary performance tests.
Leather is still the basic material for most of our shoes. The processing technique used during the tanning stage ensures flexibility and strength together with physical and chemical stability.

Jallatte responds to every safety requirement, either by performing a specific processing operation on the existing material or by using a different, suitable material.
AP23™ leather
Totally natural full grain leather that is oil- and water-repellent. It is 10% to 15% thicker than most leathers used for safety footwear (2.4 mm). Its capacity to prevent water vapour from penetrating is three times greater than the regulations in the EN 344 standard (180 mn / 60 mn). Extremely long lasting with unsurpassed performance.
Biotane™
This totally natural, 100% organic leather eliminates any risks of allergies. It features exceptional breathability, and therefore evacuates water vapour 10 to 20 times more efficiently than the requirements in the EN 344 standard. It is exceptionally supple, light and comfortable, facilitates air exchanges and keeps your feet feeling great.

Isoltane™
A multi-layer insulating complex that acts as a thermal barrier effective up to 160°C, prevents thermal shocks, dissipates heat and slows down the rate of temperature increase inside the shoe.
